Deskera announced its partnership with Visa, the world’s largest digital payments network, to provide Software as a Service (‘SaaS’) to Small and Medium Businesses (‘SMBs’) through the Visa Business Hub (‘VHB’) in Singapore.
The VHB, launched earlier this year, is a one-stop portal that delivers tangible value to business customers in Asia. The Deskera and Visa collaboration is part of Visa’s commitment to empower businesses to leverage on innovative technologies through cost effective SaaS platforms. The VHB portal also houses a Business Academy that will assist SMBs to stay competitive through expert insights and advice. The SaaS platform will be accessed by around 12-15 million SMBs commercial Visa cardholders in Asia, followed by Europe.

The partnership with Visa comes at a very strategic time as Deskera has experienced explosive growth with revenue increase of over 100% year-on-year since 2013 and plans to maintain the same pace in the years ahead. Moreover, SMB is a key segment for Singapore and SMBs contribute to almost 50 per cent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (‘GDP’) and 70 per cent of the workforce.
