KFC delighted consumers by setting up an ATM that promised to not leave anyone empty handed. Consumers were seen queueing up at the ATM, where with just a few clicks on the touchscreen to answer some questions, they could be amongst the first few to get some Nashville Dollars. True to its promise, the KFC ATM dispensed Nashville Dollar, even to those who didn’t get all the answers right – delighting everyone who queued up. Consumers can exchange the Nashville Dollar at their nearest KFC restaurant to get a serving of the legendary KFC Nashville Chicken (2 pieces).
Lluis Ruiz Ribot, CMO, KFC India said, “In the past few months, everyone has seen that good things are worth the wait – whether at ATMs, or in life. We just decided to make the waiting a little more fun and rewarding. The Nashville Chicken has a cult-like following across the USA and KFC is the first QSR, to bring this USA original recipe to India. We wanted to make the launch as legendary as the product and therefore chose a format that is topical, strategically connects with consumers and induces trials.”
KFC’s Nashville Chicken, is the newest food trend, coming in all the way from America. One has never had fried chicken like this before – intensely flavored with a hint of smokiness, mildly spicy, extra crispy, and topped with tangy American pickles. With prices starting at INR 109 for the Nashville Burger and INR 169 (for 2 pieces), Nashville’s most famous chicken is also available as Strips on a Bun, 5-in-1 Mealbox and Rice Bowlz, across KFC restaurants.
