Yoyo, the mobile payment and customer engagement company, are celebrating a major milestone having reached their 10 millionth transaction. The landmark was announced by Alain Falys, Yoyo’s CEO and Co-Founder, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Falys said of the news:
“We’re delighted to achieve our 10 millionth transaction and even more excited about the speed of our month-on-month growth. Across the 10 million transactions, we’ve helped retailers across the UK and Ireland award over 1.2 billion loyalty points and 1.8 million coffee stamps.
“What’s equally pleasing is the sky-high loyalty redemption rates we’re seeing – a vindication of our personalised in-app experience built around individual customer purchasing habits.
The milestone is the latest piece of good news for the rapidly growing start-up, having also recently formed a mobile strategy partnership with Caffè Nero, the UK’s third largest coffee chain.
Falys added:
“Our mission is to revolutionise the in-store retail experience for both retailers and their customers – this landmark is a step forward in achieving that goal.”
